NIDA T32 Predoctoral trainee Vijaya L. Seegulam graduated Friday, August 8, with her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Florida. Additionally, in July, NDEWS MPI Dr. Joseph Palamar was promoted to Professor of Population Health at NYU Langone Health. Congratulations to Drs. Seegulam and Palamar.

In addition to presenting at CPDD, NDEWS Director, Dr. Linda Cottler (MPI), will deliver the keynote during the 2025 CPDD/RSA Joint Program focusing on NDEWS.
In April 2020, the second iteration of the NIDA-funded NDEWS was awarded to our team at the University of Florida, New York University, and Florida Atlantic University. We published our first ever NDEWS Weekly Briefing on August 28, 2020. Now on September 20, 2024, we celebrate the publication of our 200th issue of the NDEWS Weekly Briefing.
